Board of directors

The Board of Directors is the Society’s executive and administrative body. The board oversees administering and organizing all the Society’s activities and operations. It also delegates some of its responsibilities to certain subcommittees.

Duties

The Board of Directors of the German Society of Montréal manages and organises the Society’s activities, plans cultural and educational events, and represents the Society externally. It is responsible for finances, member services, and compliance with the Articles of Association, and ensures that the Society achieves its strategic goals. These include, in particular, supporting non-profit organisations and social institutions in the Greater Montréal area, as well as promoting the German language, culture, and customs in Montréal.
